With regular photos or pics, I just hit ’save’ instead of ‘open’ and save it in a file…
I tried that with the slide show…it saved the entire show…but, I can’t figure out a way to right click on an individual picture and save it for printing…the ”print’ option isn’t in the drop down menu selections.
I use Microsoft Digital Imaging…and these slide shows arrive via email…
If there’s a way to do it, please explain ‘gently’…I’m not all that computer savvy…LOL
You haven’t said what sort of slide show you are working with — Powerpoint? Something online? If it’s Powerpoint, you can save the entire presentation using File / Save As, and selecting the "Web Page" option. It will create a web page from the presentation, with an HTML file, and a folder containing individual files with each photo contained in the presentation. You can then copy the image file from that folder to wherever you want it, and afterward delete the saved web page and accompanying folder full of stuff. Very handy.
If the Powerpoint method doesn’t work for you, there may be an alternative. I’m assuming you are using Windows — if you’re on a Mac, then I don’t know. But with Windows, Alt-Prt Screen will capture and entire image of the current window into the cut & paste buffer, so you can paste it into an image editor. It will capture all of the windows borders and such, so you’ll have to crop the image. I assume MS Digital Imaging will allow you to do that. This limits the capture to the image resolution that is shown on the screen, rather than the full original resolution of the file, so you should attempt the method above first, if you are using a Powerpoint presentation as the source material.
In return for this valuable advice, I must ask you a question — is yours really the face that launched a thousand ships? If so, you do us all a disservice by using a photo of a cat for your profile, rather than a photo of your fair and lovely face.
